Hi guys, so today I think I had a sugar drop. I am not diabetic however I think this drastic change in diet caused it. I started getting sweaty and shaky. Felt a little light headed. I ate a halls. It helped but I don't want to mess up my opti. Going to call the clinic to see if this was ok. Anyone else experience this? And if so, what did you do?

The nurse at Humber told me to buy diabetic candies incase this happened while on opti.

It could be a drop in your blood sugar or it could just be the opti. If you had a glucose meter you could check your sugar levels. Diabetic candy should not help as it has no sugar in it. What you would need is the Diabetic Glucose such as Dex4. However before you use those I would call you clinic and talk to a nurse or dietician.

Maybe I was suppose to buy them and take them.while on the opti to prevent that from happening? ? Lol...I never needed them so that could be. I'll have to look at my paperwork and see what I wrote down.
