Little things ...

I did so much walking Friday, Saturday and Sunday that my muscles are yelling at me today. But it's my muscles. Not my hips and knees and back. For the first time in many, many years, I can walk more than 15 minutes pain-free.

I spent the weekend with my high school best-friend and we walked all over Kingston.  We walked through malls.  On Friday I decided to walk "a little bit" from work to another bus stop.  4 km later I was tired enough to stop.  I know 4 km doesn't seem like much but 3 months ago I could barely circle the block without my hips and lower back hurting.

There are moment when I wonder if I did the right thing by having this surgery.  This weekend reconfirmed that I did.

I could cry with happiness.  :)

I know what you mean, Tes.

The little things mean so much. Over the weekend we went out of town and stayed in a hotel. After showering I danced around the room singing, "The hotel towel fits me! The hotel towel fits me!"

My husband laughed and said, "There are just so many things that I never even considered!"

Whether they be big, or small, enjoy all your moments! You've earned them all!

I really understand what you are talking about. I walk so much more now. This is why I had the surgery. To get my life back

So happy for all of you! Can't wait to experience all these things . My big one would be - when I walk there is a space in my thighs that I don't hear rubbing noise lol
