I finally know the meaning of "head hunger"...

I don't feel hungry, but I do. It's weird, so I finally get it. Day 2 of shakes, I just finished a cold one blended with ice.

The best part of my day is an order I placed on lowcarbgrocery.com came in (took a day and a half with only 2 dollar shipping fee!). I picked up some chai DaVinci flavouring. This stuff is amazing, I'm hoping it will make the vanilla shakes taste better. I also got some sugar free puddings and syrups, and stuff to make my life tolerable for the next while. They also had flavourless protein powder on sale, so I got that too for after my surgery. Life is feeling pretty good, but I wish that the low carb grocery place hadn't decided to give me a free bag of sugar free, chocolate covered peanuts because they are looking mighty good about now!

Have a great day all :)

I totally am with you right now !! It's a roller coaster I find .....it's like im ok when I wake up , have a tea , then I have a shake and I'm fine for a while , then I feel a little down and ' hungry' so I drink water , ok for a while ....then I start thinking " Oh man can I do this ?" ....The I'll have more water or a broth ....then before I know it it's ' lunchtime' and I'll have my shake ...and I'm fine again !! All strong and full of willpower ! lol ....and then it begins again

But overall , I feel good about it and I do think the next few days are going to hard and then we'll be fine !

Hang in chicky , I'm right here with ya !!

You got this ladies! Just keep your eyes on the prize! I'm 9.5 months out or so and 8.4 from goal. My plan when I reached goal was to get myself a tattoo. Well guess what!! I just got home from getting it!! I am so close to goal I can almost taste it.

I can't wait to be able to take a picture of it. 4 more hours and I can take off the bandage lol.

9.5 months from now....This could be you!!! No let me rephrase that.....THIS WILL BE YOU!!!

They're Atkins chocolates, if that matters at all. I assume they're giving them free to everyone. :)

You'll wanna watch those even post-op. Not sure about Atkins, but many "sugar free" candy-type-things have a lot of sugar alcohols that people can be very sensitive to (i.e. evil poop experience)!
