I am so worried

I have the sniffles and can feel a cold moving in.

I have upped my vitamin C intake, have had some chicken broth ( I hear that is supposed to help) and had a cold effex extra pill. What else can I do to prevent this from turning into a full fledged cold

All my colds always go to my chest.

I had surgery on the 16th and had the same thing happen to me.  I got a neti rinse and used that every night. And I upped the cold fx and Vit C.  All my colds go to my chest as well and I was in a panic that surgery would be delayed.

Good luck!

I hope you can shake the cold symptoms in time for surgery.

I wanted to mention that the information that we were given at the Ottawa clinic warns us not to take vitamin C while on Optifast as it can cause kidney stones or something like that. (I don't have the info with me at work or I would look up the exact wording.)

Feel better...rest if you can.

i'm sorry to hear that... hope you can get lots of rest and  keep believing that you will be having the surgery. If your still working, are you able to take some time off work.... ?
