Good morning!

TGIF and all that other good stuff! Tanya, the snow has stopped for the time being here but its supposed to start again for a few hours around 9 AM. Enough already. Off to work this morning and this is my very last day of "modified work day" as I return to work full-time-forever starting Monday. Packed a "supporting cast" lunch kit for the day and will buy some awesome soup at the café to add to the mix. Not sure what else I'll be doing but whatever it is will be done in my pj's from my couch. lol

Good morning everyone.  Looks nice and sunny and clear hear.  Yesterday I had my first physio therapy session at home, and we focused on stairs.  Specifically on the very stairs I fell down.  It was good, but after I felt really sore and surprisingly tired.  Things are going well at home (thanks for asking Tanya)I am sleeping much better and feeling stronger everyday.  Being cooped up for 3 weeks has made me go a little stir crazy.  I want to go out for a decent coffee and have the sun on my face. Yesterday also saw me buy too many things online.  I have signed up for a whole day canoeing class (yikes), bought 2 new bathing suits, a large tub of mango protein powder (I had better like this) photo portraits, 2 new fleece lined tops (because a girl can never get warm these days) and a gift certificate for a spa.  This staying at home boredom can be dangerous and costly.

Today it's physio, followed by a nap, some time surfing the web, and maybe movie night with DH when he gets home from work.  He is going to bring home BBQ for dinner.

6 months post-op

B. Decaf coffee with Atkins Vanilla Shake used for creamer

S. Maybe Kay's Naturals Apple/Cinnamon Cereal with some 2% milk

L. Protinis souvlaki chicken with Tzatziki

S. More decaf and half a Simply Whey protein bar

D.  Brisket or Smoked Chicken (whichever DH decides)  a few spoonfuls of chili

S. The other half of the protein bar.

Have a great day everyone.  Do fun things.  Karen do fun things in your PJ's, lol.

Good morning all. Woke up with sore shoulders from shoveling last night. My DH doesn't get home until 10:30 pm on Thursdays. I knew he would not have done it. Swimming today so the shoulders might be a little sore after but I need the exercise.

I have been having a bad week. Admitting your old is very hard. LOL A bit of a pity party for one. Back on the horse today. My mind feels calmer and not so hyper. I was using meditation. Perhaps it had a delayed reaction. LOL

So off to swimming at lunch. Home play cards with DH. Need to do some cooking tomorrow especially some granola

b greek yogurt, blueberries

s banana

l pea/ham soup, yogurt

s probably not

d stuffed peppers, cauliflower

s wine

cal 1018, carb 99.7, prot 62.3

And yes TGIF!

Taking my cat to the vet is always exciting, right from trying to convince him to get into the carrier (NO F'ING WAY), and if that is (yeah, right) successful, having him not attack/bite/scratch anyone who comes near him.... quite frankly, the stress on ME is outrageous. LOL!

So, good for YOU is what I'm trying to spit out here. ;)

P.S. Breakfast of champions I see!
