Hi all,

How long after surgery before eating seedless grapes?

Im coming up on 3 months post op and am getting bored of the same lunch routines. I'm just not sure about the skin on grapes.

Any advise would be appreciated.

thanks,

Jenn

I think I was at least 6 months the out when I tried them with skins on and I was fine. At 3 months the out just peel the skins off them. You may be fine also....your call :-)

Wishing I had some grapes right now lol

You should be fine eating grapes. Just be careful of the quantity since they are high in natural sugars

I have been eating grapes since about 2-3 months out. I ate fruit with the skin on right away. I actually forgot about taking the skin off the first time I ate a piece of apple at about 2 months and had no problems so I just never peeled anything.

I was eating grapes with the peel on at about 3 months out.  I don't get too much fruit in, but grapes have been one of my favourites. I can only eat about 3 at a sitting, depending on the size and I always make sure to eat them with cheese or nuts.  Enjoy!

I love grapes - grapes and strawberries are about the only fruit I eat.

This is sort of gross (bad manners) but I would chew the grapes but not swallow the skins, in case they hurt.  even now if I find the skins are tough I will spit them out, otherwise I just chew really well and not had any problems.
