I had my surgery Friday afternoon and all went well. I'm surprised at how little pain I've experienced so far (knocking on wood to make sure I didn't jinx myself). I am currently eating some yogurt and it seems to be going okay. I have to admit that I am terrified of my stomach since I have no idea how it will react to things. Meanwhile I am sipping and walking. I'm glad to be on the bench at last.

CONGRATS!!  so glad you posted an update. I'm so happy to read that your pain is minimal!  For selfish reason lol I go June 12th.  Are you still in hospital?  When are/were you discharged? Are you staying in Totonto?

Best of luck with your recovery!!  And congrats once again :)

I'm obviously not the OP but the average stay, barring any complications, is 1-2 nights. Good luck!

I was discharged Sunday morning so I was in the hospital for two nights. I am staying in Toronto for a couple of extra days to make sure that everything is good before I head home. The worst discomfort I've had is from gas and nausea. I think the gas is causing the nausea so I just have to keep walking. Your is just around the corner. Before you know it, you'll be on the bench too.
