Morning all :)

Sorry about the continuing insomnia, Barb - it really takes a toll on you after a while. Hopefully your body works itself into a better cycle soon.

Off to work for the day, a stop at the coffee store to replenish my stash at lunch, and will try again (hopefully successfully this time) for an early night tonight. Having pain in my lower right gut, not sure if I just have to poop or what the heck is going on there (sorry for the TMI!). After my illness I'm a little ultra-sensitive to lingering gut issues. This too shall pass (figuratively and literally lol). Hoping for a little break in the humidity, but loving the sunshine!

 9 years post-op

- coffee with cream x 2 over the day, G2, water -

B - GNC Total Lean (strawberry) - I'm finding I only drink 1/2, about half of the time, glad it has a screw cap

L - ham/swiss/pickle roll-ups (3), deli mustard for dipping

S - same as morning snack

D - 3-4 oz BBQ chicken, grilled veggies tossed with a little Greek vinaigrette and crumbled feta, tzatziki for dipping

Sorry you are not sleeping. Try to stay cool on your practice. Home tonight which seems great. Out last two nights. Last night Pot Luck with the Toronto Eastenders was fun and great food. Most of it WLS friendly.

I will be going back to the beach where my DH lost our car keys to put up signs. Would be nice to get them back. I understand the fobs are expensive to replace.

Off to the ophthalmologist this afternoon. This is the cornea specialist. Not looking forward to this. I am hoping it will just be a matter of trying some new drops.

Hope your pain goes away Karen

Heard a great video this morning. If you have time check it out

Good morning everyone. Barb I am sorry that the insomnia bug has taken up residence in your house.  For these special occasions, Benadryl nighttime helps you get a good night's sleep.  Took one last night and 8.5 hours later I don't think I moved at all through the night.  Karen get your pain checked out now, because if it persists you don't want to go to ER on a long weekend.  Pat what about renting a metal detector for an hour to find your keys.  Your may find something else in the process.

I woke up really hungry this morning (not like me).  Today it's lots of gardening (I will try to stay hydrated) then DH and I are going to a friend's house for swimming and dinner.

1 year post op

L. Cajun salmon sausage (bought these at Sobeys this will be my first time trying them)

S. Large iced decaf coffee with GNC shake used as creamer

D. Hamburger without the  bun but with all the fixin's, half a corn on the cob, maybe salad if they have any.

S. Maybe a deli turkey rollup

Have a great day everyone, and stay hydrated.
