so I had my sleep apnea follow-up...turns out that i have sleep apnea..surprise surpise lol Now my question is this..I have my pre-surgical class on august 5th, and then I am hoping to have surgery by October (since I am going through TEGH), so as long as I am on my sleep apnea machine (i get fitted for it on august 17th) then that shouldnt put back my surgery right???

No - just be sure to be using it each night and remember to bring it with you to the hospital when you have surgery. They'll be pleased you're being treated for your apnea and that's about it.
