Hi all

Sorry to be posting AGAIN but I'm wondering if anyone has trouble eating at certain times?

This last week I've tried eggs a few times, in the mornings, and threw them up every time. Yesterday I finally conceded that eggs no longer agree with me. So this morning I made myself 1/3 cup of chili - and feel sick. Now, chili has agreed with me, no problems at all, until this morning. I have that horrible back pain and just generally feel nauseous. I'm wondering now if this has something to do with me eating in the morning? I'm almost 4 weeks out and have my follow up on the 6th so I'll be asking about it there as well, just curious if anyone else has this issue.

I have trouble eating in the morning.  Usually I exercise in the morning and bouncing around on a full stomach does not work for me.  Most days I have a protein shake first thing in the morning and then after exercise I may eat something like and egg, or wait until lunch.  I also take a PPI in the morning to calm my angry pouch.

I have trouble in the morning as well. I find that having some warm, decaf tea with my PPI helps my tummy "loosen up" so to speak. I'm 5 months out, and can't eat right away in the morning. Also, make sure that you're eating nice and slow!

proton pump inhibitor, it basically reduces stomach acid so that will hurt less while it heals.

They gave me lansoprazole when I left the hospital and said to take it for a month, that it helps with stomach acid. Is that the same thing?
