Had my 3 month follow up at TWH today
This Friday will be 12 weeks out of surgery for me (had the sleeve). Had my 3 month follow up at the hospital today. They are happy with my progress, down a total of 57lbs and have lost 30% of my excess weight. No post surgery complications. Blood work all good except that my D3 and my Vitamin A were 2 points shy of normal ... going to bump my D3 supplements up and start eating more A in my diet to avoid the supplements. I am using the Patch MD multivitamins and supplementing with Bariatric Advantage calcium chews (2 daily), B12 every other day, and D3 daily. Have lost 9 1/2 inches on my abdomen since surgery! Feeling pretty good about all of it.

Referral to Guelph Feb/13, Sleep study and all bloodwork and ultrasound May/13, orientation July/13. Nurse, NUT,SW Sept/13, 2nd NUT, nurse and SW, 3rd round and cleared for surgery Dec/13. Pre-op Apr 7/14, Surgeon May 2/14, Opti Jul 3/14, surgery Jul 17/14.
The Shoppers Drug Mart at TWH carries the BA calcium chews and their multivitamins ... they keep them behind the pharmacy counter. A bag of 60 chews is $14.99 and there are several flavours.
