Water/liquids

Do you ever get back to being able to drink more than sips at a time? I'm so afraid to drink too much at once -- I either get nauseous or get a lump in my throat. But man oh man if I had one regret, it would be that. I can't quench my thirst -- EVER! :(

Don't get me wrong, it's well worth it but can anyone tell me there's a light at the end of this tunnel?

I drink water normally now, but was able to from almost the get go.  I'm eight months out and can probably chug it if I want too.

It gets better, hang in there!

I guess I'm more afraid of causing damage if I drink more or too quickly. Sometimes I can but like my decaf lattes I for sure can't.

I absolutely can drink a lot now.  In the beginning it's important to take it slow while you are healing.  I am over 2 years out and I drink normally.

Oh that's awesome to hear!!!! I'm just 6 weeks out. Some things I can drink faster than others for ex, nestea liquid favouring stuff in after I can take multiple sips in a row.

Can't wait for drinking normally!!!!!

Hi,

im three months out, and I drink normally now. I wouldn't chug a glass or anything, but I drink normals sips. I can finish my 750 ml water bottle in no time. You'll get there! I hear you on the constant thirst though. That's also better now, but I also aim for at least 5 liters a day now which I was def not able to do at 6 weeks.
