Diet Consult

So I'm worried about my upcoming consult. I don't eat a lot of grains to begin with and according to the "plate" methid one must have grains or starches with each meal. I don't eat bread that often and enjoy soup and salad for lunch. I'm worried the Dietitian will say I have to eat more? Btw I haven't had surgery yet

Try to be honest with what you eat.  The Dietitian will recommend changes that they see fit.  Examples of starches could be butternut squash, turnip, green peas, mixed with a little quinoa, or sweet potato.  It might be mostly veg, but you could still call it quinoa medley.

Thanks!

I'm writing down all I'm eating, I just don't want them to review it and delay surgery because I don't consume enough starches/grains
