I had one at hospital, but then it was 3 days later for the next one.   Constipation was really bad first week.  I take restoralax most days just so it doesn't happen again.

9 days post op.  I tried everything. While I haven't given birth, I imagine the pain may have been equivalent. I was afraid I was going to take the toilet paper holder off the wall. Lol

It was 10 days post op for me...had been taking everything I could with Drs approval of course, this is something I still suffer from 12 weeks post op. I take 2 prescription senokot twice a day plus Restoralax everyday and M.O.M every 5th day, in the First 6 weeks I had to resort to suppositories every 3 days and once even an enema...now that I'm eating mostly regular foods it gets easier, however as mentioned, the extreme discomfort and pain I felt when going once has not been forgotten so I ensure I don't go through that again....is there really a thing as TMI oh OH? Lol

Hello

My post op BM was (2) days after my surgery it was (4) days of diarrhea!

Loved it... Compared to constipation, it was a walk in the park.

Constipation is the devil!  I warn anyone post op to stay on top of it.  Giving birth to my sons was easier.

Thanks to some great OH  I am finally able to control my constipation. Hard to believe that putting a cap full of Restoralax in my morning decaffienated coffee and (2) Colace twice daily is working....

Take care & good luck!

Sandra.

Are you having solid poop or liquid. I am putting restoralax in my lunch broth and this morning it was a faucet of liquid poop.
