Not sure what's going on. Everything was alright until yesterday. I started feeling nauseated at the smell of yogurt and even thinking about it turns me sour. I can't do the cottage cheese anymore either. I've had terrible cramps and just feel horrible. I can "tolerate" the Premier Protein but even that is off putting. Water I can handle! I'm wondering if I'm developing some sort of lactose intolerance? I'm still on full fluids until saturday so think I will just stick with the Premier Protein. This happen to anyone else?

This happened to me. I assumed (and the nurse practioners agreed) that it was lactose intolerance. Two months post-op. I was very ill with dehydration. It turned out that I had an ulcer (dairy and ulcers do not mix). Medicated and doing much better now. I can even drink the premier protein now!

Please make sure that if it continues, to ask if you may have an ulcer. They can cause serious complications.

Hope you feel better soon. :)

When you say cottage cheese do you mean the chunky white stuff? Because Nordica makes a whipped cottage cheese in lemon, vanilla and salted caramel. I've had the lemon and vanilla and both are very good. I think it was Wayne H who told us about it. That might work for you.

Thank you everyone! I'm feeling MUCH better since I've been sticking to Premier Protein. I'm also meeting my protein goals this way. 2/3 cup for Breakfast, lunch and Supper and 1/3 cup for two snacks.

As for the cottage cheese....I did buy the salted caramel whipped. I loved it before surgery so bought 5!!! Packs for post surgery and nope....can't do it. I also loved bananas before surgery and can NOT stand the banana Premier Protein. I've heard tastebuds change but I never thought this soon?

again thank you all for your responses!
