oh my goodness - that sounds horrible. Luckily I have not thrown up yet. I do have pain at times when I eat and sometimes I can feel a small amount of food in my throat and I suck on a mint to keep it down. Glad you feel better.

Hey Angela,

I have only had a slight issue with egg once. They say scrambled is the hardest on our pouches. I have made an omelette a few times and also soft boiled. Only once did the omelette sit rough but passed quickly. Sometimes you just need to try again a few weeks away.

No sugar added Chapman's ice cream gives me me major issues....but funny no sugar added ice cream from Baskin robins was fine.

Our pouches are finicky.

Good luck,

Laura

I have had that happen a couple of times. For me it was over eating. I cannot believe how much saliva the body throws at it trying to flush the block. I felt like I was drowning I was spitting up so much fluid. Then the ralph. Felt instant relief.

So now when I get that feeling, I just relent and get rid of it. I like to think it was my first real discussion with the pouch. Lol

Its a very different feeling from when the pouch decides it doesn't want what you are eating and you get nausious and clamy then the ralph. Thats happened twice to me. Thats more of a one way discussion with the pouch. I don't get a word in as compared to the tug of war in discussion 1.

You will be fine. Take baby steps and just keep trying.

If you throw up it's often a good idea to give your pouch a break and do liquids for the rest of the day or at least for the next meal
