Good morning everyone. Looks like the weekend is going to start off with a nice day. This morning I'm going swimming, and then I'm going to work in the garden for most of the day. Tonight DH and I have date night so we will go out for dinner and to listen to live music.

The eats today at 2.5 years post-op are:

rivers of decaf

Poached egg on top of a crab cake with a little Hollandaise (there is a new PC Black Label Hollandaise that is premade in the refrigerator case near the butter, I just take out a spoonful when needed)

Salad with steak on top

Beef Brisket with salad

SKYR yogurt with all the fixin's

Have a great Friday everyone.

1 cup of no lettuce greek salad

Night snacks - plan lots for gut pain after taking meds

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are : Calories - 886, Carbs - 62 Grams, Protein - 83 Grams

Good morning,

Your breakfast sounds wonderful - especially the Hollandaise - you're making my mouth water as I drink my protein shake (lol). I had half a filet of salmon last night for a late dinner (only about 1/2 cup). I may have not mashed it enough, ate it too fast, had to many firm bits as it was grilled, or all of the above - but I now know what it is like when your pouch rebels. I wasn't sick or in pain, but I was quite uncomfortable for about 30 minutes until it settled. I should have stopped at least 2 bites earlier and I need to slow down. A good lesson to be learned.

B - Protein shake

S - Skyr and applesauce

L - 1/2 cup 1% cottage cheese

S - Skyr and applesauce

D - Baked salmon and sundried tomato/onion/pepper puree

Calories: 484, Protein: 65, Carbs: 33. All water and vitamins.

Friday is weigh day and although I have only lost a pound, I know I'm still dropping. I fit into a pair of size 16 capris that I haven't been able to wear - comfortably - for about two years. I can fit my whole hand into the back of them. Woohoo - I'll take the pound and be grateful.

Enjoy your weekend. For me, yard work on Saturday and cleaning out clothes on rainy Sunday.
