Post Op RNY 14 mos

Good morning! Almost Friday, YAY! Made it online before heading to the gym this morning. My friend text me last night and said she wasn't going so I had to really convince myself to get up and go, but here I am. Will do some weights this morning as my knee is a little sore for some reason....too much walking I guess!! But of course weather permitting I'll be out walking at lunch. As much for getting the steps as just getting away from my desk.

B - 2 eggs scrambled, onions/peppers, 28 gr of cheese (I managed to eat it all yesterday over a little time)

S - deli turkey w. mustard

L - taco beef on cukes, catalina, 28 gr cheese

S - 2 HB egg whites only

D- 4 oz grilled chicken, salad greens

Total Cal 885, carbs 13, protein 97

Over 100 lbs lost! and 13 lbs below goal weight!

Good morning :)

Ginny, I'm totally jealous of you getting up and going to the gym. That is so hard and I have been a bum lately. I have lots of excuses but no good reasons for not being more active.

Today I'm doing a ton of stuff to get ready for the wedding. They are calling for thunderstorms so I'm a bit concerned (freaked out), but everyone keeps telling me the weather will change!! My parents arrived last night and that is a huge help for knocking things off the list.

Breakfast - protein shake

Snack - turkey pepperettes

Lunch - chicken

Snack - kielbasa and cheese

Dinner - pork chops

Snack - protein shake

All water and vits.

Good morning. Kind of sad we had to cancel our first camp trip of the year. It did not seem worth going with a dog for 3 days of rain and thunderstorms. The thought of being in a tent with a wet muddy dog for 3 days was more than I could contemplate.

Work today. Every year I say i am going to take off the week they do the intensive for the masters students. They run it in a room beside me and get there lunch in the room I work in. The noise and disruption is aweful. They here all this week and next. I am currently sitting with head phones on while one sits by my desk on her phone. After all she would not want to disrupt the class just me.

b greek yogurt, granola

l left over chicken stir fry, yogurt

s protein bar ( usually do not use these but need to shop)

d not sure

Sucks about your camping trip! We are camping this weekend also, but in a trailer, so its not so bad. They change the forecast so often you never know what weather you'll get especially with this heat.

I'm hoping for sunshine because even in a trailer I'd rather have my monster doggies outside!!

The camp ground, Bon Echo, had the weather forecast. It has changed but consistently bad. Our dog is a 90lb lab with lots of fur. It is not my favourite smell, wet dog

Good morning all,

I'm very late again today, but haven't sat down at my des****il now. I went on a 4 km. walk with a friend yesterday and it was beautiful. I like to walk faster, and her a bit slower so I think I will just try to set the pace and see how we go. It's great to walk with a friend but may be more efficient and exercise worthy to go on my own.

B - protein shake and black decaf.

L - 1/2 cup of 1% cottage cheese

D - Two slices of lean deli turkey, 1 tbsp. light Hummus, 1 hard boiled egg mixed with 1 tsp. light mayo, 8 cucumber slices, 1/2 oz. crumbled goat cheese

S - Plain Skyr and unsweetened applesauce

Calories: 618, Protein: 74, Carbs: 33. All water and vitamins.

Enjoy your day.

Hi Linda

I think I remember you mentioning something about the other flavours of Skyr being a bit high in sugar. I think the vanilla is around 11grams. How much sugar is in your unsweetened applesauce? I am just curious because you might be adding more sugar than you realize. Just a thought. I haven't checked it out and I can't remember how much sugar (if any) is in the plain Skyr yogurt. I am running out of my sf strawberry syrup that I put in my vanilla yogurt so I need to get some more.

I will check both tonight and let you know. I'm a label reader from way back, but I'm not sure specifically about these two. I usually just scan and go.

Thanks Monica.
