Goal!!
Hi Everyone, It's been a while since I've been on here. I hit goal back in May. My surgery was at TWH on Aug 25 2015. Just thought I would update y'all with a happy post :)

The photo on the left was taken days before surgery so I was probably about 310ish. The Right was taken in May when I hit goal. Same NoFrills aisle, their lighting is fabulously horrible haha

No skin removal. I still have a belly and certainly saggy skin there and my arms. My thighs as well oh and my butt of all things, it folds when I sit so it's like I have 2 butt cracks haha. Clothes hide it all well and for swimwear I have trunks and use a top from a 2 piece suit.
I'm going to see how everything settles over a couple of years but I don't think I'd have skin removal. Most isn't covered by OHIP and I'd prefer a comfortable retirement then using my money for a better body haha! Also I'm married, he had RNY about a year ago so he's familiar with what's happening and his skin isn't tight either. I mean even if I wasn't married and was on the search for a man I don't think I'd care to date a man that put great emphasis on having a nice tight body. I'm 40, saggy skin is around the corner for most people my age anyway so why fight it haha
Don't get me started on how differently I'm treated by strangers these days... It's interesting getting the perspective of being a fat person all my life then being normal size and seeing how differently you're treated. A lot of people are horrible. I've been meaning to write about my experiences, I should get to it.

That would be an interesting story... something I am passionate about too. I don't know how I'll be treated after I lose weight, and Ive never been thin as an adult... but I know I must be biased against. It's impossible not to be with the way the media and tv and movies portray weight, and the acceptable use of fat slang and jokes.
