Knee replacement surgery

This is off topic. I had a gbs over 5 years ago and regained 100 lbs. I am in dire need of knee replacement surgery but have been turned down by a surgeon because of my weight. Does anyone know of an orthopedic surgeon that will perform this surgeon on obese patients. thanks

Hi, I am in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Update I move to Trenton, Ontario but would travel. I still have not found a surgeon that will operate on my knee being 300 lbs.

Does anyone please know of a surgeon that would operate. I am in excruciating pain constantly,no pain pills are helping.

I believe so...prior to wls my other have was morbidly obese. Dr. Bischoff said he needs replacement surgery eventually but that he was currently too young. He did repair torn meniscus in both knees with no issue. I would call the office for sure. They are very nice. Also the fracture clinic in Milton is named after him....he has an excellent reputation.
