That's so fantastic!! Congrats on getting to the home stretch of your pregnancy! As someone who put on a lot of weight durning my pregnancy and started out at 250lbs which was big for me to begin with, I can tell you that you will have such a better time enjoying the end of your pregnancy with that wight off. I could barely walk by the end of mine. So happy to hear how well you're doing!! It will be great for after baby is born too. Time to get a jogging stroller!!! ;)

That's so amazing!

I gained so much weight during pregnancy and then was unable to lose it. My second pregnancy would be post surgery so I would love to know all about your pregnancy!!

It has been TOUGH. Wait the tecommended 18 months. I am beyond malnourished and in and out of the high risk clinic constantly. I eat what i want because most days stuff thats good for me makes me dump. I also need the extra calories and the bariatric team is fine with me eating some cookies or whatever for the extra calories. Make sure your birth control is reliable.

I was using the patch for the first month post-op but then researched and it said it wasn't effective for people over a certain weight (can't remember now, but I was over that) so I switched immediately to an IUD.

I definitely plan to wait, I just hope this time around it's not as hard on my body as the first time! Wishful thinking maybe?

I was on the patch when i got pregnant - failed contraception. We werent trying. We just got married still establishing ourselves and BAM!!! What i was always told was impossible became my reality and i am beyond happy!!

Congrats! Finding out you're pregnant a few months out of surgery must have been stressful. Hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly and your little angel is a happy healthy baby :)
