shopping with my daughter
Today was a great day!
I went shopping with my daughter Frances (15). She usually picks out clothes and tries them on as I sit in a chair in the waiting room and wait until she comes out to tell her how fabulous she looks. She always looks great in anything she tries on.
Today we went into "Garage". I found myself looking at clothes for myself beside her and I said, "Hey Frances - look at this - we are shopping for clothes together in the same store! It was an amazing feeling and I don't think I have ever seen her smile so big.
We tried on clothes side by side and came out of our change rooms to show each other. It was so much fun. I bought 3 sweaters that fit perfectly.
I am so incredibly grateful that I have been given the opportunity to have bariatric surgery. I am so blessed. Thanks for listening.

That is so wonderful and so much fun!!
I can totally relate - I go shopping with my 18 year old daughter who would look fabulous in a garbage bag and I usually hang out on the nearest chair waiting for the fashion show!! I can't even imagine looking at clothes in the same store!!
