A cleaning NSV...?

So, I generally do all the housework on the weekend now because I'm just too pooped after work during the week (new job, still adjusting to schedule and commuting). I did dishes, laundry (up and down to the basement), cleaned the whole bathroom, and vacuumed/washed the living room. When I finished I was like, wow, I'm not sweating. It really isn't even work to clean anymore. I love when these little things sneak up on me, even almost three years out. Even if I'm celebrating cleaning ;)

I've heard non-WLS moms say they were thirsty a lot during pregnancy as well. I was going to say it's just normal -- I love when we can say we're just normal :) It feels like my whole life I was defined as obese and not normal, so that feels a bit weird to say.

I did the same on the weekend. I used to put stuff on the stairs that needed to go upstairs and then do it all at once. Now I run up and down the stairs - not as efficient, but I have the energy to do so and it turns into exercise as well. My son told me that I have energy like my daughter x 10. As I'm 31 years older, that is a great thing.

Celebrate everything! Just not with food - lol.

That's a great NSV! I don't think I'll ever celebrate housework (I hate it) but it sure is nice that it's not a literal pain in the you know what anymore...just a mental one, for me, lol.

Perhaps we can say I'm celebrating being active without sweating or getting stuff done without being sweaty, instead of saying that I'm celebrating cleaning lol.

You can come to my house anytime and clean and celebrate not sweating and having lots of energy. I promise I will make you gourmet coffee while I watch you clean. Man does that sound creepy, roflmao. Great NSV Meg.
