is there anything you can substitute optfast with?
I had a bad reaction to the Optifast, so I ended up using Premier Protein and GNC Lean Shakes as substitutes and the surgeon was happy with the state of liver on surgery day. You definitely need to speak with your surgeon's office ahead of time though, they can cancel/reschedule the surgery if they aren't okay with the switch.

I did the Lean shake, but I prefer Premier, so if I were to do it all again, I'd go premier instead. My dietician also had me add a cup of steamed low carb veggies as well as Premier and Lean Shake are both lower carb than optifast, I believe.
