That's right! I have done 7 days of OPTI now! Woohoo I'm half way there. The hardest day was day 1 and last night when my daughter made pillsbury hot dogs. I love those and all I wanted was one bite and a glass of wine! My husband talked me down and reminded me I am right on track. Dawn him! LOL

Yes he is! Who would thing a Pillsbury hot dog would almost throw me off. Really! I'm doing it though. I keep telling myself if everyone else has done it I can too! Thanks for the inspiration.

I'm 3 days in and surviving.....my husband has also been really supportive, and I can't help but think that part of the reason for the Optifast diet is, that if you can survive weeks of restrictions before surgery, follow the rules post surgery might be easier?

I didn't have to take Optifast, so I don't really know, but I didn't find it difficult to stick with the program after surgery...still don't. Restriction is a blessing!

Talked you down ... from the ledge? (lol). Everything smells good when you're on Opti, even the foods you don't like.

Keeping your eye on the ball, knowing that this is the next step before surgery - which you have waited for for so long, makes Opti taste almost as good as the Pillsbury hot dogs - which are highly overrated.

Thinking of you knowing how thankful you will be only a few months down the road when you are feeling fantastic.
