Well today I am 2 months post op. My weight loss has slowed alot. That seems the norm though. I lost 11.5 lbs in month 2. I am hoping month 3 will be better. Nicer weather is here and I am cleared to do light exercise.

It has been rather quiet on the board. Hope everyone is well.

Don't be discouraged, just stick to the plan and you will continue to lose. Congrats on to loss so far. Exercise is a great way to keep your head in the game. You may not have a loss because of exercise, but you will improve health and muscle tone. Being able to exercise and actually enjoying it, has been one of my favourite NSV's.

Don't worry about the speed of your weight loss. I am 3 months postop and lose about 2 pounds a week without much trouble. I'm happy with this because so far my skin is shrinking with it. As long as it's going down it's good.

I had my VSG in March. my weight loss is also slower that I thought it would be however, the scale is going in the correct direction and as long as that continues I'm happy. I bought a pedometer and wear it constantly. Helps me to get moving more.

Just take it at your own pace - everyone loses in different ways but the point is the scale is heading in the right direction! I love the nicer weather - I'm out walking every night if I can. Keep up the good work!
