- HEALTH TRACKER
I think in time you will find that food is not the evil enemy and that you will be able to tolerate most of the foods that you enjoyed in your previous life. The key is you now have a great tool to help portion control. Don't ruin this tool. It is ok to enjoy some special occasions with food, but remember the balance between quality and quantity.
You are only three weeks out so it is way to early, but a year from now just keep the to Q's in mind and you will find it all works out.
Aidan - Don't stress yourself out about the stall...it will not help and can slow things down even further.
Don't be frustrated, we all lose at a different pace and remember, good things come to those who wait.
One day you will wake up and be down 7 pounds.....it will all even out as long as you follow the program and stay positive.
Good luck and good vibes!
While I did not have Dr. Jackson for my surgery, he did perform my scope. He was excellent!!!! Bedside manner was awesome and reassuring. He was caring and kind.
I believe you are in great hands!
sounds pretty normal if you follow exactly the program tells you.
Be prepared that there could be a bump or two in the road at some point, but from my understanding you sound like you are out of the woods.
Stick to it!
I don't think you can have too much protein.
Protein is excellent for a bunch of reasons.
Least of which it keeps you full longr than most other food groups!
sorry, I don't remember much from that phase, but I did eat lots of tune, boiled chicken and poached eggs during one of the early stages.
Keep it up!
Just want to make a slight amendment to the comment above......
Better to be healthy than not :), thin is a state of mind!
Can't beleive how time flies, I remember you being pre-op.....
congratulations and looking good.
The surpises that will occur over the next 9 months will make you freak out!
Enjoy everyday of it.
I usually run first thing in the morning for 3-6 miles (depending on time). Most of the time I only drink water before hand, but if my energy is low I will start off with a protein bar.
Are you pushing your distance to far too soon? This could be the root of the problem.
Good luck and I am very interested to hear what other have to say.
You are doing great!
Keep it up, strength will come.
