Hope you feel better soon. Horrible to happen over the long weekend.
Hello there dear friend.
I am being referred to a Physiatrist. I hope I am spelling that correctly. My Family Doctor is sending me for a new set of Xrays and then on to this specialist to see if there is anything he can do by way of injections into the spine. My problem is that I have a literal pain in the rear end. It is such that I can't sit for very long without feeling tailbone pain, although I am sure that is where the pain is coming from.
It all became clearer when I had my hip replacement surgery earlier this month. I had to sleep on my back in the hospital and being in bed all the time the pain became even worse. I can feel bones in left side, low back when I am laying down flat. Anyway I guess we need a diagnosis first but there is where we are heading now.
Pain Pain Pain this getting old is not for sissies. On the bright side I am recovering from my hip replacement really nicely.
How have you been doing?
Why not just make your own. Fat Free Greek Yogurt, Fresh Fruit, ice sweetner, some Milk and some protein powder. Whiz it up in the blender.
Thanks for the info Mona,
I have a pain that is in my lower spine and causes extreme pain in the butt, if you will pardon the pun. I can't take Nsaids and physio has not produced the desired results so a shot of Cortisone or perhaps some other drug may work. Anyway I am looking forward to some help with this.
I have sacro-iliitis and may need to have a cortisone shot. Can you tell me if they can be taken.
They let me go home a day early today. I can hardly wait to sleep in my own bed tonight. I barely slept in there.
I ha ve just had my hip replacement surgery yesterday and today they got me for a short walk andstarting exercies. I hurts a lot but I am a hard worker Excuse the typing because, I am in s very awkward position, This hospital has TV, Internet and phone in a package and w anted to be able to record my food. Good thing I brought protein shakes with me. My first meal was two containers of jui ce and a jello. I did not eat it way to much sugar. Batter food today. Hig fibbre and low sugar.
Hugs to all of you.
I had my 6 month visit today with the nutritionist. All went well and I got a few tips. The nurse was off sick today so I did not get to see her but I had a great suprise. I met HeatherDnowM in the waiting room. It was wonderful to meet her. I have lost according to there records 86 pounds in six month and have gone from a BMI of 54 to 40.
I am happy!
It is not uncommon. Usually the calcium liquid (wellese) is lactose free but check you protein powder to make sure it is lactose free. I would try mixing the protein shake with water and ice.
Milk products can be tough for the first while.

Definitely press charges. People should not allow there pet to go unleased. You never know how a dog will react and the owner will have to pay the consequences. I hope both you and your fur baby have recovered from the trauma.
It happens to me regularly don't worry it is just fluid retention, constipation, not enough water etc etc etc . Just stay with your program and all will be resolved.
