I have been in hospital for 3 weeks. Discharged yesterday. They say I see a bariatrirc surgeon on  March 16. Im now In NL I had surgery in Detroit when we could do that in May 2009.
Im being told the bowl has some major strickture and likely hood is bypass will have to be redone. Any ideas on how they do this since now what is done in NL is the sleeve.

Please help im an emotional mess

Hey to all the new people here. Good luck to you on wherever you are on your journey.
To those who know me or remember me I thought I would give the update...
I started at 270lbs I am now 132 lbs
I was a size 24 4x I am now an xs and size 2 and some 4's
I still have issues and I stuffer alot from this but I am seeing dr's to help me though that.
My goal weight was 150 lbs and when I got there I just wasn't happy. My new goal is to be 130 and maintain,
I'd like to be 120 for summer for the beach but husband would have my head.lol
One thing that I found is Bio Oil has shrunk alot of my skin. My Dr says I dont need a panni as its going away on its own. I swear by Bio Oil its awesome..

I am one yr out. Done very well. About 8 pounds from goal today.
Within the last month I have been in the hospital 2 times ( 5 days and 7 days) and 5 ER visists for pain management.
I was given a ultrasound and ct scan.
Few issues were found.
1st I cannot talk about at this time.
2nd I have chronic pancreatistis. Its very painful and is causing me a great deal of issues. Im not working with a Chronic pain specialist. (scarry)
3rd Had a mammogram (routine) and they found a 5 mm mass.
4th I have 2 large ovarian cysts that each measure 5 cm's and when I live the earliest gyno app is end of October.
5th My spine is starting to curve due to the pressure of the pancreas.

I went from my 270 lbs on 2 meds to now on 15 meds and pain meds that leave me doing nothing but sleeping.
I feel most days Im positive and loving towards all but now am looking at moving my family yet again (2nd move 4000kms) to be able to eleviate some of the stress on my family.
I cant work due to issue # 1 and the EI sickness benifits dont cover drug costs (875.00 a month)

Im sorry to whine, I try not too and I hate posting here begging for your words of wisdom. Im just lost today and feeling alone.
My husband is awesome but its  a large burden for him to carry.

I collapsed at work a week ago monday. I was admitted to hospital and told it was a bowel obstruction. i was in the worst pain of my life. The pain was mid to left side of upper ab. I had a hard time breathing as it felt i was swelled beyond my skin. Around 11pm that night I had a vasalvaga. Its a fainting response to pain or unknown. Soon as this happened the pain started to leave. I was kept in the hospital for the remainder of the week where I left AMA. I had a scope no ulcer found. xray shows no bowel obstruction was there.
They came up with Pancreatitis and gallbladder. Only problem is all my blood work was normal.

So tuseday I get a call that an emerg ct scan on next tuesday. So im ok with that
Yesterday i get another call from a dr's office that says I must see the Dr today(thurs) as the Dr at the hospital wants me seen right away.

Im so scared. Ok I had surgery a yr ago, lost lots of weight. feel good but for about 2 months now whenever i eat i can eat 2 mouthfuls then stop and rest for a few then eat again.

I dont drink alcohol at all so i didnt get this from that. Is it common to have pancreatitis with gastric bypass?

Im scared. I  live in Alberta now the closest bariatric hospital or dr rather is 9 hours away, and they mostly do banding.

I called original surgeon and he says come to detroit to be seen. I cant do that.

Please say a prayer.

Med tops
Only minor food issues but really nothing i cant handle.

Starting weight 267 lbs
weight this morning and whole 158 lbs

im 8 pounds from goal

God it seems like all new faces here.
I just wanted to drop in a give my 8 1/2 month update.

Im at 172 pounds start was 267 pounds
I wear a size 12 pant start was a 20/22
shirts Im in a large but only cause I didnt lose the boobs. (And I thank you lord for that, so does my husband)

In this time, I cant even tell you the changes.

One wow. We to the airport to pick up mother-in law for xmas and she walked past me and didnt know it was me. Then she burst into tears and said wow your tiny.

I only have one food issue and its I cant eat fi**** makes me get the foamies still.
I eat great and even indulge once in a while and on those days I triple my walking.

I walk about 2 miles a day. Hair loss has stopped and it wasnt too bad.

For those at York Support I hope your all doing well. I miss you all.

To my buddy Squirelannie. I miss you.

Im so happy to see you post. Im so happy your doing well.

I wish I was there with you. You know I miss you bunches..

On a side note guys. I got the best gift from this lovely lady yesterday. I called to see how my dear friend was and she ended the call with an " I love you my friend".
Keep your friends close and dont ever hesitate to tell them how you feel. You never know you just might make there day :)
