When I had my VSG a year ago (that's what Dr. Hong at St. Joe's Hamilton decided on), he said after a year he might do a DS - because I wouldn't lose enough weight with the VSG alone, and the VSG was the better option to start with - safer.

So, it's been almost a year. I lost 100 pounds and have around another 100 to lose. I have been told there are some serious side effects with the DS: Vitamins are 200 dollars a month, and the chance of loose stools and sticky gas is very high.

So, for those of you who have had a DS - I know there are a few of you - what do you think?
