Marti asked me to tell everybody  "HELLO".  Her knee is doing well but sciatica has caused much pain. She is doing her work, can't keep our sister down, but if she sits for too long she is in discomfort. Can you believe she has lost 12 pounds since her knee surgery - WOW.  Not the best way to do it but YAY for Marti. Mike is taking special care of her. We must make him an honorary brother. Annette

Totally awesome the loss of 12 lbs....but hate that she has to be in pain for that to happen.  Makes me think of the 11 lbs. I lost when my grandbabies were here on Maui, and I forgot to eat and played with them instead!!  Much better way to lose weight than being in pain.

Mike is our hero.....thanks Mike!!

Annette,  First of all let me just say that your picture is beautiful. I can since how much you are enjoying your new you.  I have been on vacation and have not been on the boards for awhile. Please tell Marti I hope she feels better soon. I love reading all of her post and miss them.   Debi

Yeah, I can believe she lost weight since surgery ... I did the same thing. You have no appetite. I lost 20 pounds after knee surgery. Big drop. Didn't want to snack, hardly wanted to eat my three meals. Did because I knew I had to. So I'm not surprised. I'm also not surprised her sciatica kicked up. My back hurt like hell after knee surgery ... couldn't get comfortable in bed at all; would have like to have gone to the chiropractor but I didn't have a ride. Hooray for Marti...sorry about the sciatica but that too will pass...praying for you Marti if you read this.  Wow, 12 lbs!  Even in the midst of pain, God is good. Can't wait to see her smiling avatar again!
