Good Morning Everyone,
Trish, I am so happy that your healing is coming along. After I had the lower body lift in 2007 I had one area that I thought was scabbed over and heaing well. When I went to the doctor I found that it wasn't healing from the "inside out". So they had to "make it bigger to make it better". I ended up with a silver dollar size hole in my left side about an inch deep. It had to be packed with some kind of seaweed guaze that drew out the yucky stuff. It took literally MONTHS to completely heal from the inside out but it did. I have a pretty good scar there but I am not bikini material so that is okay,
We spent last night with our son and will leave this morning and head to our daughter's in Chehalis 90 miles south of Seattle. I think since it looks like it will be a beautiful clear morning we will stop at the state capitol in Olympia and walk the grounds and go inside. We were both born and raised in eastern WA but have never taken the time to do this. Kind of like living at the shore on either coast and not walking on the beach! It gets taken for granted.
We are treated to wonderful views of Mt. Rainier every time we go over White Pass to our daughter's, but you have to go a little out of your way to tour the capital grounds.
Then we will get to Erin's in time to take the grand-daughters out for dinner and if nice enough a stop at the park. Tomorrow morning about 5:30am Mike, Erin, and I will head to Seattle to spend a week on Kauai. Just saw the new George Clooney movie which was partially filmed there. Even the airport!
I've packed snacks, MP3 player, laptop all to carryon. May be interesting trying to contain that within our "limits" of one carryon ad one personal item!
Weather was clear, sunny, and about 60 degrees when we arrived in Seattle yesterday. Seatlle at it's best can't be beat, but all too often it is cloudy and pouring rain. Guess that is why it is so green. Yesterday one could see the Olympic Mountains to the west, the Cascade Mountains to the east, and Puget Sound was a sparkling blue. Stunning!
I'm going to make us a bit of breakfast before we head out this morning. My son has already left for his teaching job. Kristin is home from graduate school today. Ellie, the now almost 4 month puppy, has learned so much. She's the "star" of puppy training class. She's grown so much that her raincoat I made for her is way too short for her. I'll make a new pattern and try again. I had extra upholstery vinyl from my bar stool project and I'll make her another. It was so cute too! Lined with a flower print and on the back I put a little pocked for plastic "poop" bag.
Sending healing vibes to thos who need them, and good wishes to everyone.
