    Topic: RE: TUESDAY, already!?

Good morning vicki. Forgive me for not getting back to you sooner. I feel like we are always on the road. Morgans favorite colors are red & yellow. We couldn't measure her head, sometimes it is very tender. She may only have a short time here on earth. I am still praying for a miracle. Her head size is small. I am sorry, thats the best I can do. Thank you. Nan

Nancy, I am so happy you both got away for a while. I hope & pray for all of you that are in pain. I don't have pain so much & I am terminal.
We are in Grand Rapids again. We are trying to spend as much time as we can with Jamie & Morgan. I believe she will be in the hospital about 6 weeks. Radiation 7 days a week. They open the clinic on weekends just for her. Spectrum is the best hospital I have been too. Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!!!

Topic: RE: For Connie and Nan: Interesting article on children's cancers
Thank you, The kids are considering that option. It all depends on how she reacts to the radiation she is on now. She is still paralyzed from the hips down. She is my hero as her spirits are up & she is trying to make everyone feel better.

Connie you do sound so much better. Sorry I haven't posted much. Still at the hospital with Morgan & the family. Things don't any better. My daughter's father in
Law only has about 2 or 3 weeks to live to. My daughter is a strong person, but I don't how much more she can take. I do love you all for your prayers & support.

Good morning all. Sorry I haven't posted much. I have spent time in Grand Rapids.
Morgan, my granddaughter has taken a turn for the worse. She is in the childrens
Cancer center. In 3 weeks her tumor went from being very small to starting in her hips all the way into her brain. We are heartbroken. My son is staying at the hospital with her and her mom got there last night.
All I ask is prayers for her, I still believe in miracles. Nan

God morning Karen & Annette. Karen they say we may get up to 40 this week. Thats a heat wave to us. I think our schools have had 8 or 9 snow days so far this year. It's snowing again now. Not much news here.I stay home as much as possible in the winter. We just ordered 20 more cords of wood. Now to get it cut!!!

Annette I hope & pray you get better soon. It is so hard to be sick. Hope Tom is doing ok too.

Well you all have a great day. Nan

Topic: RE: Guilt Enough to Go Around

Jeannie, I was the second largest in my family. Now I a the smallest. Most of my family are really ok with it. I do have a neice who is a doctor & who is big. she has never said anything about my weight loss & will not recommend it to her patients. Her sister is also big & has had ankle & hip problems. They are both in their 30's. My heart breaks for them. I wonder if I was still big would my cancer have been found as fast this time around. I have no breasts, so no mamagram.Just a lot of odd questions. Be proud of you & what you have done. You put yourself first for a change.

    Topic: RE: Snowy Saturday!!

Good afternoon Nancy,Vicki, & Connie. I know I haven't posted much. We seem to always be going to the doctors. I had my second trilogy this week. I was told it usually only takes one time. It did work the first time. The 2 tumors are inactive now. Well my body decided to make 2 more brain tumors. At least no chemo yet.

We are celebrating my 2nd sons 37th birthday today. Having corn beef & cabbage, chocolate pudding cake, & homemade cheesecake.. I love it when I have a good day! I hope you all have a great weekend.

Vicki, I a praying for Butch's retirement. Nan

Good day all. Just a quick note to let you know I am still alive. I have been sick for about 3 weeks. Doc says it's the flu. The worst of it is no energy, which is really bad because I was that way before the flu. Had 3 appts. last week & again no chemo for at least 3 more mos. I have ben losing weight as the thought of food makes me sicker. I am doing  juicing so at least I am getting nutrition.

Again I thank God for my DH. He has been sick too but he does so much for me.

Trish I hope you can get moved soon. Nancy B. you are such an inspiration to all of us. Vicki, you are a wonderful grandmother & mom. For anyone I may have forgot know I think of you    & pray for you every day.

Hi Eileen, glad you made it home for Christmas. Some of my kids were here earlier in the week. We went to a friends for dinner. I had a ball playing with her grands. 2 girls 6mos. & 17mos. My favorite ages. Then we came home & just relaxed. Have a few more places to go this week. My daughter turns 34 on Friday. My youngest will be 33 in January. Where does the time go?

Topic: RE: Nobody Started the Monday thread yet??????

Morning Judy, not much going on here. Just baking bread today, my DH prefers it to store bought. Thank goodness I have a bread maker. I run the dough cycle & bake it in the oven, more like homemade that way. When my son is home I make it about every other day.

We have been "spring cleaning". I can't believe how much junk we have. Not Christmas shopping this year, giving the grands money. They all have things to save for. Hope you all have a great week!!!!  Nan

    Topic: RE: Prayers please...

Yes Judy, I will pray for all of you.

    Topic: RE: Happy Friday!
