Do 15 minutes on the abs machine at gym on lunch hour. 64 oz. water Hi Linda, In the NorthEast we are experiencing typical New England weather.  In the span of 4 days we went from 92 degrees to 54 degrees.  It's kind of leveled off now in the low 60s.  Of course, I'm freezing.  We have been cloudy and rainy and it is supposed to continue through the week.  But my heart is with everyone in Minnesota, Ohio and Texas with all the flooding.  I hope the weather patterns calm down soon. Be careful to stay hydrated with all that heat. (((HUGS))) Bev

    Did 1.3 miles on the XL Glider.  Will do 15 minutes on the abs machine at lunch hour. Just got back from PCP visit.  No more diabetes, no more high blood pressure.  BP was 124/76.  Woohoo!  Took blood test to check for cholesterol today. I'll get the results next week but it looks good.  No more pills for diabetes, HBP and maybe cholesterol (only for allergies)!!!

    Rainy and chilly here in CT today. B - 1 soft scrambled egg with cheese L - Wendy's small chili S - 1 cup mixed of blueberries and strawberries D - 3 oz. Meatloaf, Green Beans S - Hood no sugar added fudgsicles 64 ozs. Water 1 mile on XL Glider.  Feeling tired today. That's it for me today.

Vanilla Dannon Light n' Fit yogurt with 1/2 cup strawberries D - 3 oz. chicken, 1 cup of mixed yellow squash and zucchini S - Hood no sugar added fudgsicle. 1.5 miles on XL Glider. 15 minutes on Ab machine at gym at lunch. 64 ozs. water My thoughts are with everyone facing weather issues.  Be safe.

    I work all week so I'm a weekend warrior trying to get everything done before Monday comes . . . again. Off to switch a load of clothes from the washer to the dryer. LOL I wish my efforts showed more on the cleaning end.  But I'm the queen of clutter.  It can pile up quicker than Samantha can twitch her nose.  But in my case that doesn't work. Bev

    Another gorgeous day. B - 1 cup cottage cheese - so easy to eat and packed with protein. L - 2 oz. left over chicken from the caesar salad     6 oz. Vanilla Dannon Light n' Fit yogurt with 1/2 cup strawberries S - none D - 3 oz. Salmon       1/2 cup corn on the cob - cut off the cob to make sure I chew it!       Small salad with fresh tomatoes    2 Tbs. Newman's Own Lite Balsamic       Vinaigrette S - Hood no sugar added fudgsicle Exercise: Housekeeping 64 oz. water

    Saturday What a great day!  We left at 8:30 a.m. and didn't get bac****il 10:00 p.m.  I went with my three sisters up to Stockbridge, MA and the outlets in Lee, MA.  We shared, shopped, laughed and loved the day away. B - 1 cup cottage cheese, Sm. Vanilla Chai from Dunkin' Donuts - Oops! L - Chicken Caesar Salad at the Red Lion Inn. MMMM S - None D - Mixed Grill at Olive Garden - 4 0z. Steak and Chicken with 1 cup of zucchini and yellow squash. S - Hood no sugar added fudgiscle. Walked about 3 miles. 40 oz. water - Oops!

Water Hi Linda, You made it to the weekend after today!  AND I want to know who's life is perfect anyway.  I am doing well with weight loss but still not satisfied with how quickly it is coming off.  I know I didn't put all the weight on at once so I can't expect it to come off at once.  I'm supposed to be patient.  I will be buying clothes for the fall soon and I want to be in a smaller size.  Where did the summer go?     OK, so I'm exhausted just from reading all you did in a couple of days.  Missed you at the concert.  Everyone was back from the England Ireland Scotland and Wales trip.  The chaperones had their usual hysterical stories of all the goings on.  Chris J. went on the trip so I can't wait to hear from her. My sisters and I are going for a one day trip to Stockbridge, MA.  Gonna walk the town, have lunch at the Red Lion Inn and stop back in Lee at the outlets.  It's just us four sisters so it should be fun.  We haven't done anything together in a while. We would love to have Mom go with us but she can't take all the walking.  It was nice you got to connect with Bev again. Hope to see on Tuesday. Love 'ya, Bev

Dannon Light n' Fit Vanilla Yogurt with 1/2 cup strawberries D - 3 oz. cheeseburger        Salad with 2 Tbs. lite balsamic viniagrette S - 1 Hood no sugar added fudgsicle 1.77 miles on XL Glider, 15 minutes on ab machine at gym. 64 oz. water Taking Film and Literature for fall semester - need to read four books!  Looks like I'll be reading every spare moment.  I'm taking two other classes and working full-time.  It should be a really busy fall.

    Hi Judy, So sorry you are going through this.  I hate to say it but it might be beneficial if your husband did hurt himself.  That is how my grandmother ended up qualifying for the nursing home she went to.  The nursing staff, after having to deal with her 24/7 alerted the doctor and caseworkers that there was no way she could go back and live with young children around.  I was 13 at the time.  She had dimentia and quite possibly mental illness from about the age of 40.  After my grandfather died my mom and dad didn't know what to do but take care of her.  She "ran away" about a few blocks and fell which put her in the hospital.  They walked my father through the whole process. I hope you get help soon. Bev

LOL.  Be careful not to overdo.  I tend to avoid things involving pain so you might not want to exercise if you have fresh memories of the self-inflicted pain.   Step up slowly. (((HUGS))) Bev

    Wow Jan your doing good. 2 miles on XL Glider before work.  It took 35 minutes. That's a new all-time high for me. I am lucky that the corporate park I work in offers a free gym in the building next to mine.  I scoped it out yesterday and found a machine that targets abdominal muscles.  So I'm going to go over there for fifteen minutes at lunchtime. Thanks for the inspiration each morning. Bev
