Good morning Jo and everyone....

Jo....I wish I had a place to have a few flowers....I sure miss that! Sounds like you will have a fun Memorial Weekend being with family and friends. It doesn't get any better then that!!

This is the first day this week with no appointments. It has been a crazy week!! I intend on working on my puzzle and not much else!!

I finished the book my daughter gave me to read. It was really good. Sad but very interesting. It sure kept my interest! It is called "The Glass Castle" by Jeannette Walls. She also wrote "Half Broke Horses" which I have read too. These are true stories of her life. She has a third book coming out soon. I look forward to reading it as well. What an amazing woman!

Nic text me this morning. He is taking me to dinner and an "Alan Jackson" concert in August!! He knows how much I love Alan and haven't been to one of his concerts in years!! What a wonderful grandson...he loves his Nana!! I am so excited. Seeing Alan will be great but spending special time with Nic will be equally as wonderful! I am blessed to have such caring grandchildren!!

Good morning Trish and everyone....

Trish....have fun with the boys this morning. Kids love to do puzzles...I am sure it will be a hit!

Debbie....what a fun day for you and Krissy!! Sounds like she is set for clothes and such for a while!!

Vickie....so glad Carrie is doing so well!! I am sure you will have a good day together doing whatever!!

I have more PT today. I am not so sure it is helping. Every night after I am done with PT I am in more pain. I discussed it with the PT. He had them back off some on the pool exercises. I still hurt last night and was up until 4:00 AM. I think it is flaring up my Fibro as I sure hurt all over. I see the PT this afternoon. I am going to discuss it with him further. I am still grateful for the nerve block as my back is sure better!!

I have no plans for the weekend....hoping to just have a relaxing time. I have a new puzzle I want to get started on....I love doing puzzles!

Carla....so glad you made it home safely! I would love to have a Keurig...on my wish list....maybe one day!! My daughters have them. I sure enjoy the Keurig when I am there!!

Vickie...I am praying all is going well for Carrie.

I have physical therapy and pool therapy today. It sure does wear me out but it feels good. I finally got my new modem so today I can hook that up. I am tired of this one shutting down all the time. I hope that fixes the problem!!!

Good morning Nancy and everyone......

Nancy....the weather is so crazy....rainy and cold and in the 60s yesterday...today is supposed to reach 90.....then back to 70s tomorrow. Not  good for those of us that have arthritis and such. I pray the fruit farmers don't lose their crops.  You are amazing handling those two women that are second guessing everything. I would politely say "well next year when you are in charge you can have it that way...for now this is the way I will be doing it".....you don't need things to be changing. This has gotten to be hard enough on you as it is. You truly are a patient and tolerant person.

Carolyn....I pray you have safe travels tomorrow on your way to Oregon. Where in Oregon will you be? My granddaughter lives in Troutdale right outside Portland. I have never heard of a appetizer party and to bring your mending. How fun...and a great idea!!

Trish.....SPRING.....what is that?? The weather is absolutely crazy!! I sure hope it all gets straightened out soon. We had such a long horrible winter. I need warmth now!! I think it would be a great idea to get a book about birds.  I used to watch the birds and had a book. Of course that was when i had a home...LOL.

Yesterday was a busy day for me. I saw my psychiatrist...he claims I am quite sane...I just laughed. He said he wants me out of this house asap. He said it isn't good for my health or my mental health...I couldn't argue there! Still waiting for a call!!

I had to buy protein drinks yesterday. They were on sale so I bought 4/ 6 packs. I drink one a day in the morning as I can't eat that early.  I bought 8/ 6 packs of my Glaceau Vitamin Water. No calories just fruit flavored...no artificial sweeteners and no carbonation. I drink one a day as a treat. It was on sale for $3.99....regularly $5.99 a 6 pack. I had to stock up. Then I had to go stock up on my calcium chewables. I bought 4 of them as they were on sale too. I stocked up on vitamins last month. I try to keep ahead of this as I don't ever want to run out.  I am set for awhile!!

I plan on cleaning the bathrooms as my sister's is horrible as always. She just WON'T do it. I keep explaining it isn't healthy for either of us but she just lets it go. I finally told her I will HAVE to do it. That made her happy!! Can you spell LAZY...UGH!

I will spend the rest of the day relaxing and reading a new book my daughter gave me. I have heard so many good things about it.

Happy Mother's Day to all...including those with furbabies too!!!

I am getting ready to go to my daughter Carrie's. It is only a 1.5 hour drive. We will pick Kyleigh up on the way!! I can't wait to spend time with everyone including Pam!!!

The sun is shining and I feel really good today. A little achy but really not bad at all. WOW...what a change that is....Happy Mother's Day to me!!!

Jennifer...glad you started the thread....good to see you here this morning!!

Trish....your Mother's Day dinner sounds like it was wonderful!! I am sure the card and pic from the kids are great. Love those sweet little homemade gifts....they are the best....made from the heart!!

Vickie...I can hear the excitement in your post to have all your loved ones together tonight...it will be wonderful!! I don't envy your 6AM flight...LOL!! More prayers and blessings on the way!

Carolyn....I agree...I would so much rather eat at home. My daughter was going to take us out and I told her I would rather have something simple at home. You will all laugh....we all picked tacos/taco salad.....we are a strange group....it is just something easy that we all just love!!! We will have fresh fruit and Pam made a dessert!!

I wish my doctor thought like yours.... he is all about protein and veggies. I love beans and eat them often. My first soft food was refried beans with cheese. They are still a favorite!!!

Cindi....So glad you finally posted. Sorry you are having such a hard time. Glad everything was benign. I am sure your friends understood the melt down you had. You are dealing with so much right now. HUGS!!!

Vickie....I know you needed the rain....sorry the winds were  so strong they caused damage to your plants and flag.  So glad you are enjoying the YMCA!!  I sure hope you can find a better deal on hearing aids too! How do you get in all your protein each day? I have to have protein  every meal or I won't be getting the required 80 grams a day. I haven't had cereal or oatmeal for over 5 years. I am not allowed milk anyway...my surgeon says it is empty calories...I sure miss that too. Every now and then I buy a pint and sip on it here and there...YUM!

Debbie....I am so happy you are having such a great time with your quilting...good for you!

Karen...red is my color too. Your surgery is only a little time away now. I am so happy for you!! I am so jealous of all you ladies and all the crafting you do!!!

I am having an okay day. Having problems with my internet service all week. A tech came out today. It is my modem just like I told them all week!! They are mailing me a new one. Praying it comes soon....by Monday anyway!!  If I am not on for a few days then you know I lost my internet. I do get internet on my phone but is a lot harder to post on there. My back feels so good...I am so happy!!! I can walk and bend without pain....YAY!!  I have an appointment soon with my Physical Therapist and my Pool Therapist....looking forward to that!!

My back where they did the block doesn't hurt at all now...woooohooo!! Now if the Fibro would settle down I would be doing good! I am sure you are feeling it too!!

I have to ask you again...when you had the nerve block did you do it with just numbing the area or did you get put to sleep??

Trish....glad you got your cartridges and all the other things on your list. You had a busy day yesterday! Glad you are getting your mammogram and bone scan done....good luck!! I am sure the grandchildren loved having you with them this morning....they love having you near!!

Vickie....I love that book Outlander...I two have read it more then once!! I am guilty of staying up reading late to. It doesn't matter for me as I have no set time to get up. Hope the weather holds and you can get your windows washed!! I laughed about your comment about the drought!! I hope Butch appointment went well.  I can't wait to see your cute little Chest...a pic would be nice.

As for me.....I can't believe how much better my back feels today....it is so much better!! Now if they can figure out the rest ...I will be feeling great!! I can't wait to be able to take my walks again!!! My sister calmed down and even half heartedly apologized. I am not sure how sincere it was as she needed me to figure out that mess of a checkbook for her this morning!! I keep praying some place opens up soon!!

Today I am planning on resting up after all my appointments this week. I have a good book to read and can't wait to get back to it!  I have pool therapy and see my physical therapist tomorrow.
