Hello Audra. I like to read up about the paranormal. I heard some things about Gettysburg & EVP's. It must be cool to live near Gettysburg. I would like to talk to you too. Talk to you soon, I hope.

Hello. I have been into this stuff for more than 10 years. It seems that I am more into it now than 10 years ago. I have book on this stuff now. I have about ten or so books on the paranormal. I first got a taste of it in 1984 with the movie "Ghostbusters". How do you got into a group or groups about the paranormal? I'm trying to understand all this paranormal stuff.

If so, I would love to chat with you.
I am from Maryland - about 10 minutes south of Gettysburg and we are looking forward to going to the Battlefield this summer and trying to get some EVP's and hopefully photos.

Topic: All this Para is normal to me
I don't do ghost hunting but the deceased will often come to me if I know their loved ones. I don't even have to know them personally. I also have visions, dream interpretations, readings (made my own cards).

I havent . The only time i have ever seen an entity was when I was about 6 or 7 and I woke up for no reason one night and I saw my bro looking down on me (he had died a few months earlier he was 2) i went to rub my eyes and he was gone but seconds later we had a huge earthquake! That was the first one I remember feeling. But I have had activity my whole life.
Topic: Does anyone post here anymore?
I've had a few occurances recorded. The most recent having occured in daylight as I was stopped @ a light in front of a cementary while driving to my brother's home in Willow Grove, PA. I have a great picture of an entity on a headstone - The people I was with thought I was crazy for snapping a picture. However, I could see it plainly! Has anyone else ever had an experience like this in daylight?
    Topic: RE: Paranormal in Indiana?
Hi Susan! Where are you located! North - South - East - West? Not many folks know, but the Notre Dame campus is seriously haunted! My mom had a run-in with two somethings at Washington Hall, which is the university's stage theater back in the 60s. And, to this day she swears she does NOT believe in ghosts - but something threw her down those stairs & it wasn't a person... Okay - here is a great site. It has listings for every state & then some: http://theshadowlands.net/ghost/groups.htm But, be careful - okay? Some of these expeditions can be downright dangerous. Lots of nasty stuff out there, you know? Take care & happy ghost hunting! :angst:

Hi Colette I like your website very cool. I thought I would pass on my story. My sister went to Gettysburg College from 1991-1995. She was there during the filming of the movie and heard all sorts of stories from friends and residents. She also worked in the college security office and heard all the retelling of stories by the security officers. In addition, she lived in Stevens Hall (Im not sure I spelled that right) and was told all the ghostly history. Shortly after my sister started college, my family and I went to visit her for a few days. She had heard about the ghost stories presentation in Farnsworth House and took us to it. She knew I was into the paranormal thing and thought we would have a good time. Up this time I had not really done much research into the ghosts at Gettysburg other than what was presented on tours of the battlefield. My sister did tell me the place we were going was supposedly haunted but she did not tell me any more. I guess I assumed it was haunted by soldiers. Anyway, the weather was nice and we stood outside Farnsworth House waiting for them to let us into the basement for the presentation. I have always thought myself to be psychic. I told my mother and my sister I would tell them what I felt about this place, if I got any impressions so if they proved true later I would have witnesses. So here we were standing outside on a warm night in a small group when I feel something come up to me and I turn around into a blast of perfume. I asked the rest of the group if they could smell it and they did. None of us were wearing a perfume resembing what I smelled. In addition, we were pretty far away from the closest group of tourist also waiting for the talk. In my head I then got a picture of a woman wearing a blue dress. I told my group that I thought the ghost was a woman in a blue dress. Soon after my impressions we were let into the basement and the dramatic presentation began. During the presentation, I felt a presence again. I asked her name and I heard in my head something like 'My name is Mary'. I kind of filled that in my brain as my imagination in overdrive because of the ghost talks and the atmosphere. At the end of the presentation, the lights came up and the woman giving the presentation asked for questions. I asked her who was the ghost at Farnsworth House. She said the ghost is a woman often seen in a blue dress and her name was Mary. I almost fainted. In later years I have learned more about Farnsworth House and found out about (Mary) Jenny Wade. I think I had visit by the woman herself ;) Patti

    Topic: RE: Hello...
I just joined the message board, myself, as well as the Lap Band message board. It's nice to meet you here. I'll keep checking here, too. I've certainly had more than my share of paranormal experiences, and am most interested in para/psi research and investigation. I do post to some other paranormal message boards, and have a Yahoo Group for groups and individuals to share resources. I've also just published my first book, "Am I Crazy or Just Haunted: A Guide for Living with Paranormal Experiences", which is a FREE download from http://www.lulu.com/nursehealer I'd love to hear what brought you folks here. I came to find support as I prepare to have the Lap Band surgery, and was delighted to find that there's plenty of that plus a lot more from this site. Many blessings, Mary C Miller http://www.nursehealer.com/
