New here, and am just looking into surgeons.  I live in the NW corner of CT, on the borders of upstate NY and southwest MASS.

I had my bypass at Danbury Hospital and loved the experience (really!).

Anyone have any recs for a good PS with good/professional bedside manners in the area? 

Are consults usually free, btw?
Height: 5'6".  Top Weight/Surgery Weight: 274. (August 2010)
8 weeks out:  219.6.  12 weeks out:  198. 
NORMAL WEIGHT REACHED MARCH 2011 (153 lbs.).
Goal BMI:  In the normal range, please -- somewhere between 22-24 
Clothing size 26/28 (triple X) before surgery in August of 2010. 
March 2011 clothing size:  10/12 (large)

Any Colwel from Mass general did my work (lower body lift) and i'm VERY happy with the results. She even works with insurance!! I'd look into here... i have a vid tape of her (well her voice) and have documents my journey on youtube... if your interested look up jenniferhammond88 on youtube
