swelling after belt lipectomy

Hi,

I had my Belt Lipectomy on Wed and am now 3 days post op.  much of my skin and fat are gone, but i still feel very firm and round in the belly.  Is this swelling?  have you ever heard of anyone not getting a flat stomach after this procedure.?

you are only 3 days post LBL, you are very swollen PO 7 days is the worse, it will gradually diminish the bulk will be gone by 3 weeks, but still have quite a bit at 6 weeks, and so on,  don't overdo it or the swelling immediately comes back.  It will be a few months till all the swelling is gone.

I am three months out and still swollen,  I am flat in the morning but throughout the day swell.  It definitely gets better though.

I wore my compression garment nightly due to swelling for almost 2 yrs.
