read the scarring after plastic surgery article .  Adhesive Silicone sheets impregnated with allicin ( onion juice ) are the plastic -surgeon's go -to for flattening/eliminating old and new scars .  You can buy a package yourself at any surgical supply for about 60-80 bux and use it forever . 

Or you can buy scar gel or a non brand cheaper copy at any drugstore ( about 27 bux) Both work... 

Based on personal experience .. vitaminC supplementation and ( maybe ) eating a lot of onions and garlic also seems to 1) heal things faster bruising, scarring , cuts , sunburn, " expression lines "  2) maybe heal things more perfectly /unnoticeably .
