Face lift... Prices?

I am considering a face lift... I went to a local very good surgeon and got a quote of close to $10k for just a face lift.

Not including eyes or neck... Wonder if that is way overpriced or rather typical for a US plastic surgeons?

I know Prices are different all over the country... But SC is not that expensive area ... So I am wondering if that is way over the top... Or rather typical...

I went to the best face guy in town (it's ALL he does, nothing else) and I was quoted about the same price. A true face lift takes care of upper and lower face (but not eyes), which covers the neck too.

$10 to $12k is the standard price on the East Coast but it should include the neck.

You can have the same procedure done in Costa Rica or Brazil for about $4k with highly qualified surgeons. You'll have to add in the price of a plane ticket and a 2 week stay at a hotel (budget another 2k).

I think Dr Sauceda is $6500, includes neck and eyelids. If you combine any other procedures, it reduces the price. If over 7k, then your hotel and up to $600 for airfare is covered. You can take pics of the front and side and send to [email protected]

My before and after pic is in the face lift folder in his group here. Click on Dr Sauceda in my siggy line.

You have done plastic surgery on your face.

Hey, thanks for your information through writing.
I am thinking of doing it end of this year, is suggested my some of my colleagues. I do not have enough knowledge about its procedure.

I had my neck, mid face and then my upper and lower lids done. I didn't need a brow lift. I had 4 stitches and a little scar under my chin for the neck lift and scars in my hair line behind my upper ear and lower ear. My hair hides them. For the upper lids, the scar is in the crease and the lower lid looks like I have eyeliner on.

If you click on Dr Sauceda in my siggy line, it will take you over to the discussion group. Click on Photos on the right hand side. Scroll down, there are 2 folders with facelift pics.

I would only go to a facial plastic surgeon for my face. The face is so unforgiving, unlike the body. Every little thing can be noticed and cannot be hidden. Symmetry is crucial. And get this, my facial plastic surgeon was cheaper to do my face than my body contouring plastic surgeon was going to charge me, and she was amazing!!! I think the face and neck lift is $6k. At that price, you can afford to travel if needed. Her name is Dr. Catherine Winslow, in Carmel IN, and here is a before and after of me: https://www.flickr.com/photos/mybariatriclife/14033532077/in /album-72157644328508957/ I had more than the face and neck lift, though: face and neck lift, chin implant, upper eye lid lift, filler along the marionette lines, lip augmentation with SMAS, SMAS to tear troughs, chemical peel, and Botox to the 11s between my eyes. I think that's everything...

I agree 100% about selecting a facial plastic doc. Where I live in the NY metro area, the costs are ridiculously high.
