Five Days Post-Op UBL/Mastopexy

I'm feeling great!

I started with 10mg of oxy every 6 hours and 5mg of Valium every 6 hours (so one or the other every 3 hours) and I'm now done with the Valium and only taking 2.5mg of oxy every 6 hours. Tomorrow I plan to switch to tylenol as needed. Pain is minimal and I'm no longer having problems getting in and out of chairs. The problems I was having were due to the depth of the chairs and that it was hard to scooch forward to the edge of the chair to then be able to get up using my legs. But now there's no trouble. I also switched from the chair to the couch at some point as that's a lot more comfortable for my butt which has been sore since my LBL. I slept the first two nights in the chair and have slept the last three nights on the sofa. Tonight I hope to sleep in bed.

Things that require torso twisting are challenging. I feel like I've done a billion pull ups or bench presses. Both my chest muscles and upper back muscles are fairly exhausted.

Everything is healing nicely. I didn't have any drains and I've only got a bit of ooze at the base of each boob below the nipples. Lots of swelling, of course. My nipples are sensitive - more so than I expected considering the numbness I've experienced from my LBL/brachioplasty. That's a nice bonus!

My breasts look awesome. Very firm, perky, and proportional to my body. I'm glad that I didn't opt for implants because they would have been too large for my frame.

If possible, this surgery is even more exciting results-wise than the first one. Probably because I'm not a zombie and actually have awareness of the results! I've got my first post-op follow-up on Tuesday :D Woo!

Such great news, Gwen!!!!

I'd give my eye teeth to have perky breasts, or anything remotely breast-looking, instead of my deflated chest projections.
