Restarting vitamins?

My surgeon has me stop my multivitamins because he wanted to avoid E and K as they can promote bleeding during surgery. If you had to stop vitamins, when did you restart them? I will ask at my appointment Wednesday, but thought I'd ask here too.

My surgeon wants me on my vitamins except for mega doses of Vit E. Also lots of protein.

He said I could immediately after surgery (or whenever I was functional enough to remember to take them). I think I started back up at day 4 or 5.

I think I was on the same schedule as Erin.
