So no lie this has to be the biggest decision that i have been faced with in life. here are my running thoughts. Albeit I am loving my new body after plastics, just like anyone else I could knit pick about all the new things I see that I want fixed. Things like thinking that there is too much fat around my knees after thighplasty, or a little jiggle around my elbow after brachioplasty or my VaGee area being a bit poofy and looking like a package, HA. But truth is, I will always look a little strange and I'm not  putting myself down I'm just saying that I have put my body through hell and what I am now is not only a result of my hard work but a result of my choices.  So These shiny new implants just would not fit the rest of the package. NOW i am still in deep thought and my mind is subject to change but I just don't think at this stage in my life (40) that it's really an importance. AND how will I know what I could have been if i jump right into implants.

Still lots to think about and I am so appreciative of all your comments. Please continue to chime in on this.

My surgeon knows that if I wake up with side rolls I am not going to be happy. He actually showed me where those scars will be. WOW I have scars everywhere except my feet. Still pondering my lift/implant choice.

I guess I thought that once I did the lift that there was no way I could add implants later. Where do they get the needed skin.  I really appreciate all of your opinions because I still have not decided. I'm almost thinking lift for now and see the results (if that's an option)

I also had them done at the same time. It was no big deal. Just remember to ask for help and not over do it.

it's not uncommon to need a revision. Sometimes what looks good on the table is different when you're up and standing. I have had revisions done and just had to pay extra anesthesia fees.Just talk to your surgeon about your concerns.

I just had revisions to my anchor cut 360 4 weeks ago.  Due to an OLD SCHOOL gallbladder scar my surgeon could not get me any tighter on the first round. Albeit now I am nursing a Necrosis area on the anchor cut I am more tight than our first round. Now I had my thighs done this go round so as far as pricing I just had to pay for the extra anesthesia.  Oh and darn those dog ears.. I have one on my thigh that he will revisit during my breast lift in the spring. Unfortunately we're not cars and complications just happen. Hopefully you can work this out with your surgeon, most cover revisions.

Yes I can tell that it's going to leave an ugly scar and my OR nurse wants to do a scar revision when we do my breast lift but I does that mean opening up that area again. This is already the product of a revision. Like you I'm not sure I want to re visit it.

Oh I for sure remembered your story and was hoping that you would comment. It kinda freaks me out because my surgeon act's like it's no biggie and that the cream and a scar revision will be the fix.

I had my 360 at 204 last year and my thigh lift 2 weeks ago at 196. I'm self pay and nothing was ever said about my weight. I am at a realistic weight that I can maintain. Highest weight was 405.

Yay you!!! hey I can tell you that I just had my second round of plastics and AGAIN. Awesome recovery and NO pain.

Oh the joy of seromas. Don't panic. Seromas have 2 choices, you can either drain them and seriously they might come back the next day or the body can absorb them which could take months.  Some times it takes multiple drain trips to get them to go away. So just let your surgeon make the call. In the mean time place a warm, not hot cloth over the area and massage it a few time a day. They might ask you to keep them wrapped for compression.

I have had my plastics at a government funded/training hospital. My cosmetic surgeon is also the professor and # 1 burn surgeon in my city. I paid 10 thousand for a LBL and brachioplasty (arms). And 10 thousand for my thighplasty last week and a breast lift that was paid for but will be done in the spring. This covered all fees, supplies and overnight stay. Plus revisions.

So check out your options.

The thighs are amazing and I just cry when I see them.That part of recovery has been cake too! What's your cosmetic plans?
