    I had no idea...I had an HSG and read all these horror stories and it was easy no pain for me. I had an IUI on Tuesday and it was pretty uncomfortable. I wouldn't say it was really painful but the doc had to try a catheter that was stronger (less flexable) and when she hit the top of the uterus I yelped. At least I know what to expect now.

    I had the same process 2 years ago.. I found the HSG painful due to blocked tubes, but the insemination was a breeze... My baby girl is 2 now.  I will hopefully be doing it again in about 4 months.. cant wait.....
