We're still in the NICU, but things are going very well. So far as they can tell, the period of time he spent having arrythmia and tachycardia does not seem to have damaged his heart. He's been stable on the medication for almost a week now, so today he started getting it orally instead of by IV. After a week or so of getting it orally, he might be able to look at going home! He'll have to be on the medicine (Amiodarone) for at least a few months and they'll have to keep an eye on his liver and thyroid because of medication side effects, but we're starting to see a light at the end of the tunnel here!
