Hi all. Long time no post, sorry, life has been busy.

I am about 6 weeks pregnant and couldnt be happier. Iam trying to figure out how to eat without gaining unnecessary weight. I try to keep my carbs under 50, but read that isnt enough.

I want to eat what the baby needs, but not more. I eat about 1750 calories a day and 50 carbs. What should I be aiming for for the safety of the baby without gaining unnecessary weight?

I was insanely picky while Pregnant and probably not eating as healthy as I should be! LOL I found a great cookbook however that really helped me throughout my pregnancy! It was Called Full Belly: Good Eats for a Healthy Pregnancy. It was amazing and I totally recommend it to everyone (Pregnant or not).

I am 11 weeks pregnant, 12 months post op. I was told to stay the course, keep my carbs down low and not to worry about needing calories or carbs, just protein. I still am not at goal so there are calories to be had...on my rear end.
