    Topic: RE: Low Sugars
HI I have been having this problem for sometime now. I am 17 weeks pregnant and have to eat about every 2 hours to maintain my BS. Do you have a monitor?
And yes I have been gaining weight but the dr told me Friday it was more important to have a healthy baby rt now. Staying away from carbs has helped me some but I still have a problem if I go too long without something. Good luck to you and please share what your doctor says.

Topic: RE: I'm so tired!!! Oh and not working out!!
Ok Im almost 9 weeks pregnant and so tired!!! I was running about 3-5 times a week and now feel like I don't even want to walk on the treadmill. Im so tired all the time and when I try and run its even worse...Is that normal? Today makes a week since I have exercised. Oh btw I have also started a new job and haven't worked in a while maybe that has something to do with it too.

How many of you stayed active throughout your pregnancy?

Topic: RE: Hubby's 44... too old for a baby?
Not too old at all!! My hubby was 44 when we have our first son and Im pregnant now and he will be 49 next month. So no I dont think it's too old. My hubby is still very active with our 5 year old and enjoys t-ball with him.

    Good Luck!!

    Topic: RE: Gaining Weight??? Eating??
OK I am a little over 18 months and my weight was fluctuating anyway but this week I have gained 3 pounds!!! In a week!!! I am barely 6 weeks pregnant. Im still running every other day, calories have been around 1400 a day, but the only thing I have done different is eating crackers. I know crackers are a carb but I have been so nauseaed throughout the day and its the only thing that helps.

So Im wondering what are you eating and how many calories a day to you consume? I know gaining weight is part of being pregnant but not this early out.

Topic: RE: I was totally wrong worring about weight GAIN....
Hi my name is Amie we are really close in surgery dates and I am 6 weeks pregnant (i find out for sure thursday) but I really nervous. How are you doing have you gained any weight?

    Topic: RE: Is it normal?
I think it is normal. I was just like that with my other 2 pregnancies. I was not the happy glowing prgnant person I thought I should be. I did get better around weeks 27 and 20 with the 2nd I was just so tiered and miserable. I really felt like aliens had taken over my body!!! Ask your doctor at your next appt but mine said it was completely normal. I hope you feel better soon

Topic: RE: Suprise I'm pregnant!!! So confused??
Thanks for the advise...Im just a nervous wreck :) anyway yes he did a blood test to confirm the pregnancy and he said I could just ovulate late which my other 2 that is what happen. He's going to do another ultrasound next week to confirm...this also scares me because it could be just an ectopic pregnancy but I find out for sure next Thursday.

    Thanks again!!

Topic: RE: Suprise I'm pregnant!!! So confused??
Ok let me start off by saying this is a total surprise! I went to the doctor Dec 27th to talk to him about getting an IUD and he said yes I could but he wanted me to wait untli 3 days after I started. OK no problem but then I never started and my BFF said you should have started already but Im really irregular so I didn't think anything of it well 2 weeks later I called the dr to explain something was wrong because I havent started and of course they told me to take a test. It came back positive!!! They did a transvag ultra sound and didn't see anything but said its probably too soon so I go back next week.

I am 18 months out but still really scared about being pregnant!! Im worried about gaining weight (just this week I gained 2 pounds) my last pregnancy before RNY i gain 65 pounds. I also had gestational diabetes last time. Im just scared about not being healthy enough to have a healthy pregnancy. How did you guys do it? Thanks!!

    Topic: RE: Anemic?

    Topic: RE: Pregnancy after RNY??
I am seriously considering pregnancy. Im thinking about starting to try in July which would be my 1 yr anniversary. I have so many questions about it though. Has anyone done it after RNY and did you gain weight? The reason Im thinking about July instead of 18 months out is you still have some malabsorption and my surgen said as long as all my labs look good in July he didn't see why not.

I gained alot of weight both my pregancies and didn't have the RNY just to get pregnant again and regain a bunch of weight. How many ppl are successful at maintaining?
