Boy is this a quiet message board or what? I guess the other non-potters don't know what they are missing. I have been throwing pots for 22 years. It is not how I make my regular living (I'm an RN), but it is a serious hobby. I do some functional work but do more raku than anything. I sell at about 3-4 local shows per year. My husband started throwing about 5-6 years ago and it is nice to have a hobby in common. Susan

Susan, I am not a potter, but I love pottery and I am slowly trying to replace allot of my things with pottery.. I have a good start on my coffee mugs.. have some wonderful serving bowls and vases... When ever my husband go for an outing we are always looking for a pottery shop and I like to bring a piece home. So keep up the good work.. and I know its very relaxing. Just thought I would share.

My wife and I started collecting pottery last year and have about 50 diffrent pieces, bowls, vases, canisters and pots. We like the rustic look but have some nice very detailed pieces with the glaze coating. Looking for larger pieces, vases or pots that are 2' and even 3' tall. Saw some but there where poured plaster pots. Dwight
