I was chatting with my local Sewing/Embroidery/Quilting Shop Owner and lo and behold, she offers an one-on-one class to learn how to Machine Quilt on a 14' Gammil Quilting Machine. I am a beginner, but she said I could learn to quilt myself. The class is $65.00, for a 5 hour sessions, and then after you complete it, you can "rent" the Gammill for $20.00 an hour to do your own quilting. What do you more experienced quilters think??? I am seriously considering taking the class, and then I can honstly say that I "made it all by myself"....

That's actually a really good price for the classes. Around here, it's about $200 for the learning sessions. I would say go for it in a heartbeat!

Thanks for responding. I can't find the time to do it this month, but April looks like it might be a bit less busy...
