pre op yesterday

I had my pre op yesterday and the surgeon said i would get the new 10cc realize band... How is the progress going with all of you  that have had it? Can you feel it inside when you eat? surgery is thursday 26th. i am excited!

The Realize band is only 9cc's according to all the info I have read. Check out FAQ to the left.

I'm two weeks out and everything is going well, although I'm ready for the mushie foods!  My surgery went smoothly and I didn't even need pain meds afterwards.  The only post-op pain was at my port site.  It hurt pretty badly for about 10 days...sharp, pulling pain mostly when getting up from a sitting position and first thing in the morning.  Good news is that's gone for the most part.  Good luck with everything and let me know if you have any more questions. congratulations to you! I go in for sugery at 5 am in the morning. i hope to not have much pain- i have hear the gas and port pain is awful. Good luck to you and thank you!
